Carob Island Restaurant serves daily breakfast and dinner buffets, located in the luxurious, Korineum Golf & Beach Resort.
We at New Cyprus Magazine were really impressed by the restaurant’s variety, when we got there at 8 o’clock in the evening. There were several hot dishes to choose from the buffet, and a salad buffet with fresh vegetables, Salmon rolls, sauces and dressings left nothing to be desired. The buffet also offers a wide selection of breads, fruit and delectable desserts. Ordering a drink made at the table.
The restaurant’s name comes from the Carob tree which grows in the area. In Korineum’s kitchen they use the syrup of the Carob pods, which is known to be a nutritious alternative to chocolate, with up to a third less calories. Korineum Resort also grows their own olives to make extra virgin olive oil which is used in all their buffets and a la carte dishes.
Carob Island Restaurants dinner buffet is open between 19:30 and 22:00. Breakfast is served between 6:30 and 10:00.
