Race night at Remzi´s

Sunday night 19th was “Race Night” at Remzi’s Restaurant in Esentepe village. Owner Remzi was busy when around fifty people had gathered in the small cozy restaurant, to bet on horses and enjoy the exellent chicken buffet. The race night was organized for the benefit of Tulips Cancer Charity and Gary accounted for the horse show. Gavin “The Living Jukebox” played and sang songs on demand and the atmosphere was cozy.  This was one of a series of events run by the Esentepe Fun Run and Ramble Committee in advance of the Fun Run on Sunday 5th April next year.

Art Watson, Chairman of EFRAR said “There was a real party atmosphere with everyone shouting for their chosen horses and selecting songs for Gavin.  Dancing continued well into the night and we raised 2,000 TL for Tulips which is far more than we could have hoped for.  Thanks to Gary, Gavin and everyone who supported us.  Special thanks to Remzie who donated 335 TL from the food”.
