Laden Ince performs at orchestras 25th anniversary in Germany

Laden Ince is one of what is now becoming a long line of talented Turkish Cypriots who are making a name for themselves in the world at large. Laden is a young soprano -singing colatura as well as dramatic roles – who is making a name for herself in Germany, and following her appearance at the recent Turksoy opera night at Bellapais and GAU, she flew off to Germany where on the 18th October she took part in a concert with the chamber orchestra ‘Capriccio Fridericiana’ 25th anniversary in the Auferstehungs Church of Kalrsruhe.

Music lovers in North Cyprus may well remember the concert at Bellapais Abbey on the 3rd March where Laden was the soloist and in which she sang Johann Sebastian Bach’s Jauchzet Gott in Allen Landen’s cantata No.51.

This piece of music was, for listeners at the abbey, the highlight of the concert as her voice soared with angelic clarity to the roof of the abbey, and as a result of this was invited to sing at this 25th anniversary of the orchestra. Laden’s response was one of “enthusiasm and gratefulness”.
