A cycling event organised by Nicosia municipality, amongst others, entitled Cycling for Life is being held on Saturday in Nicosia and Sunday in Larnaca, and is a great initiative to get us up off the couch and onto our bike saddles.
For Saturday’s event the municipalities are asking all to take part in a 10km ride which will start and finish at the Health Centre in Engomi, on Nikos Kranidiotis Street.
Road safety NGO Reaction Youth for the Prevention will be at the event, giving workshops and teaching about road safety.
The event in Larnaca will follow the same process but it will start at 10am and its start and finish will be the American Academy in Larnaca.
