Podilates Lefkosias is organising a carnival cycling event tomorrow in south Nicosia.
The group’s aim is to get people together in the hope that a friendship will flourish around the common interest of cycling. All this is done in a fun environment and gives anyone who is interested a chance to get up off their chair and get some exercise.
The meeting place is at the Kolokassi parking area in Nicosia at 7.45pm and the dress code is carnival. Other than that, you might need to know that the actual ride will last from 8pm until 9.30pm and will begin with a six km ride around the old town city centre, and then you will continue onto the neighbourhoods in Nicosia.
The group asks you to bring along your helmet and not to worry about it messing up your hair because it will work perfectly with any fancy dress. Also make sure you have lights on your bike so you can keep safe and so that you don’t give people out of the carnival game a fright.
