Instagram invite to ‘My Cyprus’ photo contest

Instagram users are being invited to display their photographic talents by entering a social media competition entitled My Cyprus.

The technology-based competition, organised by telecommunications company Telsim and the Cyprus Turkish Photography Association (Foder) begins on Tuesday and continues until Thursday, October 15, with each participant restricted to a maximum of five entries depicting people or places in Cyprus.

Winners will be announced on November 3 via Instagram and the photographs will be exhibited in a “different format with surprises for art lovers” at Lefkosa’s Near East University Atatürk Cultural Centre on November 11 and 12.

First prize in the competition is a Nikon 7100 18-105 camera with other prizes including a Vodafone Smart 6 Plus and a Vodafone seven-inch Smart Tab II. A Telsim “special prize” will be a Vodafone Smart 6.
