Lemar Supermarket is assisting KAR 
(Kyrenia Animal Rescue) in working with stray dogs and cats on the streets. Currently there are collection boxes for money and food at Lemars store in Karakum and these will soon pop up in Catalkoy, Karaoglanoglu and Alsancak. Lemar in Karakum is also giving away left over food, which is a great help to KAR in their daily work.
Representatives recently met from both sides to discuss increased efforts, in particular they talked about discounted prices on dog and cat food as part of the work. At the meeting Lemar also donated 70kg dog food to KAR.
