Plans for a 634-bed casino-hotel in Çatalköy will be outlined at a public consultation meeting in Girne’s Savoy Ottoman Hotel at 10am on Monday.
The $81.6 million project, proposed by Savoy owners Ahmet Arken and Halit Karabasoglu, originally submitted in 2008 as the Radisson Hotel Project, will have 317 rooms over five storeys including a basement, plus a 510-seater amphitheater, meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness centre, bar, restaurant, office and shop.
Construction is due to start this year on 25 dönüms near Diana Beach.
