Christmas is approaching even here in sunny Cyprus. If you have not yet managed to get in the festive mood you will have the chance tonight. A screening of the ballet The Nutcracker will be shown at K-Cineplex Strovolos in Pafos, the ballet has come to be associated precisely with Christmas and the story is well known to many. You get to come home to a German family, where a magical Christmas takes place – glittering Christmas tree, festive spirit and Christmas gifts. The ballet has many years of history and has over the years been played mostly around Christmas, for the festive spirit. The premiere took place in 1892 in St. Petersburg, Russia with music by Tchaikovsky. On Saturday, December 5th, you can enjoy a screening of the ballet at the K-Cineplax Strovolos in Paphos.
