La Matta diners say ‘ciao’ to 2016

Diners at the La Matta Italian restaurant in Çatalköy’s Port Cratos venue saw in 2016 with a dazzling New Year’s Eve performance by singer-songwriter Lütfiye Ozipek and her orchestra.

Almost 100 locals, expats and visitors from overseas packed the top venue where they were served a special three-course meal, with some opting for an unlimited beverage package.

They danced and sang along in Turkish and English with Ms Ozipek into the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Habibe Saramolla of Port Cratos said: “The New Year’s celebration was a blast and it was great to see everyone in such a festive mode.

“We were taking bookings up till the last day as all our regular customers and newcomers came together and partied in a friendly and lively atmosphere. We thank them all and wish them happy New Year.”

Port Cratos PR manager Duygu Soley said: “We have had such a great year, we are glad that we’ve become the number one restaurant.”
