The Balci Plaza Hotel is located at the far eastern peninsula with approximately 1 hour 20 minute drive from Ercan Airport. Follow the sign posts to Iskele, DIp Karpaz and Yeni Erenköy from there it is just two kilometers east of the [Ayios Theodoros Church].
Upon entering via a tree lined avenue, along gravelly drive-way meanders to splendidly kept botanical grounds and grounds. Struck by the beauty of this rural spot where nature has been kind and generous, we arrive at a time gone-by era where the splendid views are uninterrupted as far as the eye can see. Upon a few minutes drive along the twisting turning driveway to the main reception, there is ample private car parking area, and the main hotel residence overlooking the sea views holds a huge veranda and dining restaurant where you will be greeted by friendly staff run by the lovely attentive Maria and proprietor Hasan Balcı An under statement that dining here is something to look forward to. It is apparent, from the gorgeous white pillared veranda, where the overhanging plants paint a picture of a thousand words, to the carefully laid dining tables covered in white and maroon linen. Dining here beckons a delightful experience.
Opposite the main residence building waiting to greet you is another gravelly tree lined avenue a few paces away where your able to meander through pampas lined gravelly pathway twisting down to a spectacular private sandy cove a few paces away that has an honesty bar to welcome visitors. This cove, is a truly classic beach setting where one would dream of to take your imagination and soul to its’s heights.
The main building hosts a reception area and covered outside dining room veranda area with spacious table settings seating some 50 covers, serving lunch and dinner offering a great a la carte selection clearly chalked on a floor standing white chalkboard. The A’ la carte menu is clear listed with prices. A somewhat laid back relaxed ambiance with friendly happy chattering from guests and attentive staff with the sounds of nature and of the Balci Plaza staff sums up an irresistible picturesque package.
Accommodation
Balcı Plaza, is a collection of small detached bungalows and semi-detached bungalow apartments. There is twin and double bedded accommodation, excellent shower rooms, refrigerator, and it is all finished to a high standard. The hotel provides breakfast included and is excellent for families who want to self-cater. The spaciously appointed apartments are equipped with facilities which sleep two or four people in twin bedded rooms. There are also detached two bedroom bungalows which come with large private verandas which ensure you will be able to absorb the beauty of nature within privacy. Sofa beds and cot beds supplied.
