Sabiha Gokcen International Airport is preparing to open new horizons for Turkey, just as the man who gave it it’s name did, Sabiha Gokcen, the first war pilot in the world.
The airport is, in addition to transportation, foreign trade, aviation and technology and a variety of other services, the first step in what is scheduled to be the country’s project “Industrial Park of advanced technology”. It will be the model for transforming the area into a technical basis, just like its namegiver Sabiha Gökçen once was the model for the emancipation of Turkish women and equality in working Life.
