The new four day Jazz Festival organized by Etel Winery has now come to an end. It brought Jazz to North Cyprus with performances by international artists from Italy, Israel, Turkey as well as local performers from North Cyprus.
Six concerts took place in four different locations with a grand finish performance at Gillham Vineyard Hotel with music from Sugarpie and The Candymen. Hundreds of Jazz enthusiasts from across Cyprus came to enjoy the good vibes, the fantastic and locally produced Etel Wine, and to dance away during the beautiful sunset hours. Sugarpie and The Candymen from the Italian towns of Piacenza, Cremona and Sicily, are five musicians sharing a passion for swing, manouche jazz, blues, soul, pop and vocal harmonies. They have performed at hundres of jazz clubs and venues across Italy and northern Europe. At Gillham Vineyard Hotel they combined their classic swing and jazz arrangements with original songs and swing interpretations.
