Fun for those with four legs is available in Lapta on Sunday April 6th from 2pm . As a part of the tourism festival, the show called “Fun Dog Show” is held by the Kyrenia Animal Rescue (KAR), Stumble Inn in Kyrenia. It costs 5TL (1,3GBP
) to enter your dog into the competition with the chance to take home a prize in any one of eight categories, from “Cutest bitch” to “The dog with the waggiest tail”. Click here to see all categories.
Fantastic prizes are awarded to dog owners who enter, with lots of fun things for everyone such as dozens of market stalls full of things like clothes and food. Owners who would like to enter their dogs can register from 1 pm. Application forms for running a market stall, for a cost of 50 TL (about 150 SEK), are available at Kars office in Karakum, their shop in Girne and charity stall at Lambousa market.
