Art exhibition with Mo Davies

Artwork including acrylic paintings and photographs will be displayed at the Black Olive Café in Alsancak next weekend.

All the exhibits have been created by Mo Davies and will be the subject of a one-day “Heart ‘n Art” show between 16:00 and 19:00 next Saturday, 22nd November.

The UK born artist spent around 40 years in New South Wales and her show will feature photographs of Australia’s stunning landscapes and rainforest alongside views of North Cyprus.

Her “vision board” art will showcase an inspiring way to visualise a planned new project by arranging clippings and other media to map the path to a cherished goal.

“I have been on the island for almost three years,” said Ms Davies. “I brought all my art gear with me but it has taken me a while to get back into it.”

“I am also making digital art as it is less physically taxing.”

Entrance to the exhibition is free of charge but hors d’oeuvres, priced at 15TL must be pre-booked by calling Vicky Karaca on: 0533 835 5133.
