Award-winning Turkish Cypriot photographer Mehmet Gökyiğit launches his first solo exhibition on Monday at the capital’s Atatürk Cultural Centre opposite Girne Gate.
The display, 10 x 10, features 10 categories of each 10 photographs including 20 domestic or international award-winners and will open at 6pm.
The electrical and electronic engineer who also heads the Cyprus Turkish Photography Association (Foder) said his themes included Nature, Landscapes, Journeys, Way of Life, North Cyprus, Long Exposures, Photo Stories and Portraits.
Visiting hours are from 8.30am to 3.30pm on Monday to Wednesday and on Friday, and from 8.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm on Thursday. The show will close at 1pm next Saturday, November 28.
