Low-cost airline Blue Air started flying from Larnaca to London’s Luton airport yesterday.
“This brings London, a major destination, closer to Cyprus, with attractive fares and a high level of service,” the airline announced.
The flights are scheduled to operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, departing from Larnaca at 7am and from Luton at 11am.
According to a press release by Blue Air from June 4, 2016 yet another flight to Luton will be added. This one will depart from Larnaca every Saturday at 1pm and from Luton at 5pm.
Blue Air started operating in Cyprus in 2008 and currently the popular budget airline flies from Larnaca to Athens, Thessaloniki and Bucharest. From June 4, there will also be flights to the tourist destination of Constanta in Romania via Athens.
