The Doğanköy Community Association is helping to raise funds for the impoverished people of Tijuana, Mexico, by holding a cake sale at the village muhtar’s office at 10am on Saturday November 28. The community’s own Michael Pickworth will be travelling to Tijuana, as he did in 2011, to help deliver aid to the poor.
Refreshments will be on sale together with pieces of cake or whole cakes to take away. The organisers would very much appreciate any contributions of cakes which can be sold for this worthy cause and any donations can be brought along on the day.
