Christmas with Tulips

Tulips is holding a Christmas stall at Lambousa Market on Saturday 29 November, where they will be selling lots of Christmassy goods such as Christmas cards, toys, games, lights, Christmas clothing, etc, etc. Loads of bargains to be made. Don’t miss out…

Who is brave enough to dip more than their toes in the sea on Christmas Day?

Tulips is very fortunate to benefit from two Christmas Day Swims:

East Side of Girne:
At 10am on Shayna Beach (Çatalköy) there will be a sponsored swim for 3 charities of which one is Tulips.

The Shayna Beach owners are generously sponsoring the breakfast and refreshments that morning with all proceeds being donated to the three local charities so even if you are not a swimmer, you can still participate by sponsoring a swimmer or by joining the swimmers on Christmas Day and having breakfast at Shayna Beach with the full knowledge that you are supporting 3 local charities!

This swim is being organised by Barbara Fursman and Annalise Friede; sponsor forms are available by emailing tulipscarole@yahoo.com,  or from our stall at Çatalköy Lemar Saturday Market and also our stall at Saturday’s Lambousa Market.

West Side of Girne:

On the west side of Girne the Christmas Day swim will take place at Kervansaray Beach at 11am in aid of Tulips.

Refreshments are being sponsored by Savas, the owner of the Sh-Boom Bar (Alsancak). This swim will start at 11am however swimmers are being encouraged to arrive at the beach about 10.30am.

This is a sponsored event and sponsor forms are available from the Sh-Boom bar or contact Shelly Massey on 0533 864 0753 for further information.

This year there will be no excuse not to get wet for Tulips on Christmas Day as there is a swim on both sides of Girne!
