Come Together – Concert for Peace and Solidarity

Red music stage in south Nicosia will be where the bands The Zilla Project and The Low Spark will come together with DJ Cotsios O Pikatillis during a concert to support Syrian refugees on Friday.

The Zilla Project, who recently performed in London, is a four-piece band that is gaining a larger fan base as we speak. For the last six years the band has entertained with its version of the blues.

They also play original compositions as well as electrified versions of well-known blues classics. Their debut album entitled This One’s for the President came out in 2014 and after a long list of performances in 2015, the band is starting off 2016 by putting their heart and soul into the music.

Joining the boys who sing the blues, will be another local band, The Low Spark. This trio will bring more of a rock feeling to the night.

The band was formed in 2009 originally as a cover band, but slowly found their way to presenting their own material. Watch out because it has been whispered that the music scene will be receiving their first album very soon.

Completing the set will be Cotsios O Pikatillis, founder of Afro-Banana Republic Festival, performing African sounds fused together with disco.
