Concert with pianist Vadim Palmov

Sunday nights are always when we are at our most relaxed and can soak up the atmosphere around us while enjoying every melody in the air. This Sunday let your senses engage with every note that pianist Vadim Palmov will perform during a piano concert at the Holiday Inn hotel in Nicosia.

The famous pianist graduated from Saint Petersburg Conservatoire in 1986. Since then he has been involved in performing in recital programmes, at international festivals, and has also given a number of performances as a soloist with orchestras in Russia and other countries like Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Estonia, and Romania.

During the performance on Sunday, Palmov is bound to include works by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. The pianist is also known for his devotion to romantic music composed by Schubert, Schumann, and Chopin. But Palmov does not only set his fingers to pieces that are familiar to our musical ear, he also includes rarely performed works in his programme, such as piano concertos by Schoenberg, Martinu, Stravinsky, Mosolov, Villa-Lobos, Marten, and a sonata for piano and strings by Salmanov.

Live performance from the Russian pianist, November 16, Holiday Inn Nicosia, at 8.30pm, ticket €20. Tel: +357 99476261
