A display of creations

Jewellery design and handicrafts will go on show next week with a three-day display of creations from municipality workshops at the Grand Pasha Hotel Winter Garden Hall in Karakum.

Teacher Çelen Özkaynak said: “I have been teaching jewellery design and 35 different types of embroidery and needlework at the sessions, which are really popular and so full that I can only take details of applicants now and wait for someone to drop out.

“There will be work from 45 women on show and class will continue for 12 months without a break.” The exhibition launches at 5pm on Wednesday and may also be visited on Thursday and Friday from 9am until noon and 2pm until 5pm and next Saturday, April 1, from 9am until noon.
