An exhibition of photographs launches today in the capital’s Büyük Han to honour the first vice-president of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr Fazıl Küçük and the TRNC’s founding President, Rauf Denktaş.
The Our Leaders show of almost 100 original black and white or colour photos marks the 33rd and fifth anniversaries of their deaths, on January 15, 1984, and January 13, 2012 respectively.
Organised by Doruk Hastunç, head of the Doruk Foundation, the show launches at 3pm and may be viewed tomorrow and on Monday from 8.30am to 8pm.
