DJ Phonique comes to Larnaca to save the day

Just when we thought the night life scene was under construction, a DJ is on his way to save the day on Saturday in Larnaca.

The DJ who will give December its rhythmic vibe (and which has nothing to do with caroling) is Berlin-based award-winning DJ, producer, and label owner Phonique.

This DJ is not just a house DJ, he may actually bring the house down as he is one of Europe’s most in-demand and renowned DJs. If you are looking to have a listen to some of his work before deciding on going to his set or not, you will be able to find plenty as he has produced over 100 releases and remixes.

Phonique’s career exploded, as it were, in 2004 with club The Red Dress and For the Time Being. His first album, Identification, earned him global recognition. Three other albums followed to pretty much the same level of success: very high.

He is currently producing a fourth anticipated album, as well as working with Timo Maas on original full recording sessions of the 1973 hit Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five, given to them by its creator, Sir Paul McCartney, to remix.

This is the DJ’s first time on the island so show him a lot of love.
