Emirates will improve their service for travellers from Cyprus by introducing a Boeing 777-300 on their route from Dubai to Malta via Cyprus as of June 1.

The twice weekly service gives travellers the option to travel from Larnaca to Malta or Dubai with this larger aircraft, which will replace the Airbus340-300 currently covering this route.

According to a statement on Tuesday, the new aircraft has eight private suites in first class, 42 fully reclining seats in Business Class and 310 spacious seats in economy.

“It features the award-winning Emirates ‘ice’ entertainment system which offers over 2,500 channels of audio and visual entertainment on demand, from new movies, TV shows, music, audio books and games,” the airline announced.

In addition, Emirates offers a complementary chauffeur-drive service for those travelling first and business class. Passengers will be taken within 60km of Larnaca airport upon arrival.

“Businesses that import and export goods will also benefit daily from the large cargo capacity on the Boeing 777-300 aircraft,” the statement added, “offering up to 23 tonnes capacity per flight.”
