This good-looking contemporary urban tavern in south Nicosia was created by two young entrepreneurs who developed a brand new approach to the traditional Cypriot tavern.
Gourgouismata, situated opposite the old GSP Stadium in the centre of south Nicosia ,offers a laid-back dining experience serving Cypriot and Greek cuisine with a modern approach. The tavern is a popular destination for locals to enjoy a wide range of meze dishes with beer or locally sourced wine. The food menu goes big on classic Cypriot meze dishes with a twist and every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night there is live music. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday.
