Government offices to apply summer hours on Monday

New summer working hours for government offices come into effect on Monday. Under the revised rules, civil servants will report for duty from 7.30am to 2pm on every day except Thursday, when they will work from 7.30am to 12.30pm and then 1pm to 5pm. The 35-hour working week be in force until September 18.
