KAR recently held their Christmas Bazaar at the Teachers Hotel in Kyrenia and what an excellent day it was! The sum of 20,644TL was raised, and KAR wants to say thank you to all the hard working volunteers and the people who came to spend their money – the dogs and cats at the Rescue Centre are very grateful.
Locals are also invited to visit the Kyrenia Animal Rescue Centre over the festive season from 9am to 1pm and they will even be open on Christmas Day when perhaps you can stretch your legs by taking a dog or two for a nice long walk and just enjoy the silence and views of a mountain walk.
Presents for the animals are also welcome whether they be donations of food or just simple playthings that will captivate the attention of those cats and dogs that are being looked after at the Rescue Centre.
