Kolan Medical Centre Kyrenia

The clinic is a 24 hour GP practice with its own ambulance, which has a GPS system.  A doctor and nurse is on site during the night and they have 2 emergency beds. They have their own laboratory and a simple registration system for patients. Patient files are kept to ensure continuity of care. Home visits can be arranged for those patients too ill to attend the clinic for an appointment or for those too ill and in need of essential blood tests.

Specialist doctors from Kolan Lefkosia visit the clinic on certain days to provide the same service that is on offer at the Lefkosia hospital. There is a taxi service to and from the clinic and the main hospital should patients wish to see their specialist on a day when they are not at the clinic, or to use other facilities only available in Lefkosia.

Alternative therapies are available and they have a new psychology service based at the clinic 3 days per week.  A child doctor, a cardiologist, an eye doctor and a dermatologist are all are working from the clinic but also have their own surgeries.

An information centre is next door to the clinic, on the corner of Ziya Riziki Caddesi, which is a drop in centre providing support and information about their services.

Please visit their web site for further information www.kolanbritishkyrenia.com where you can see a map of the location as well as general information.
