Time for picnics and fun in the mountains

Now that temperatures begin to cool down a little when you you can do more than sunbathing during the day, it can be nice to go out for an excursion. North Cyprus has plenty to offer for nature lovers, ranging from long hiking trails up the mountains to beautiful coastal walks along the coast. We have previously written about The Kozan Experience, a place we can really recommend again. If you want to get away from the city and enjoy a cool breeze among pine forests, Kozan is the perfect choice!

Time for picnics and fun in the mountains

This is a beautiful nature- and restaurant experience in the mountains above Karsiyaka, a place where the whole family can enjoy themselves. Here the children are greeted by donkeys, the Cyprus’s national symbol. Try horse riding, swings or just run around and play in the woods. The restaurant offers traditional Cypriot food and you can also bring your own food for picnics.
