Long queues to the south at Metehan crossing

Motorists queued for over an hour to go south
via the Metehan border crossing on Sunday,
‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.

The newspaper says that the Greek Cypriot checkpoint was understaffed and blames the lax attitude of Greek Cypriot officials for the long queue.

Heading back to the north, delays were minimal.
