The Nicosia Tourism Board is for the second year organising the Medieval Nicosia Festival, aiming to reveal and promote the city’s rich medieval past and culture.
The festival will run for four days, between April 6 and 9, and includes several events.
After the success of last year’s festival, this year several organisations and museums have cooperated in order to produce a rich programme of events for all ages.
The festival includes classical music concerts, a documentary screening, special museum tours, a medieval-themed city tour, theatre performances, sculpture workshops and much more. The festival also includes the widely known Othello’s Island, which is a Scientific Conference on Medieval, Renaissance and Early Modern Studies that takes place in Cyprus every year.
The events are free to the public. Booking is recommended for the events taking place at the Centre of Visual Arts and Research (+357-22-300999). For further information call +357-22-889704.
