On Sunday, 13/4, we celebrated a friend’s birthday with a lunch at the new Merit Royal Hotel in Alsancak. She had reserved a table for 13 people a week earlier.
Their lunch consists of an incredible buffet under Turkish
tradition. Lots of food in all shapes and your own dessert table.
Starter, main course, dessert and drinks as well as coffee and aperitif included.
You may eat as much as you can, and its GUARANTEED, no one goes away hungry. It was both fresh and very good.
French wine is served with the food. And with the coffee French cognac. One can choose to sit inside the restaurant or on the lovely terrace with sea view.
The staff speak good English. They are open for lunch every day at noon. 13:00 to 15:00. Lunch costs 50 TL / person (about £15) incl. beverage and is well worth investing in, you get a lot for your money.
They serve dinner between the hours. 19:00 to 22:00 at a cost of 80 TL (£24) incl. beverage.
