Niazi’s Restaurant has been around since 1949, when it was in Limassol but after the war Niazi’s family moved to Girne which is where the restaurant is located today. The family business has besides the original restaurant two branches in Girne, two in Nicosia and Famagusta. The concept is still the same since its inception, meze with full kebab, which means many hot and cold starters, fresh bread, grilled halloumi cheese, lamb kebabs, lamb chops, and various forms of char-grilled meat. Today Niazi’s son Ahmed Aydeniz runs the main restaurant in Girne which is close to the harbour at Kordon Boyu Street.
Opening hours are from 12:30 to 23:00 every day of the week.
