Many turned up to the Nordic Day organised by the TFR Nordic group at the Açmenya Restaurant in Alsancak recently. All the Nordic countries were represented and in addition to some Dutch and English who were curious as to what a Nordic day looks like.
The day started off with Hans Berglund from Finland welcoming everybody followed by a short talk by the TFR Chairman, Willy Lindt. Guests were then treated to lots of singing by the Norwegian musicians Trygve Beddari and Anne Margaret Nilsen and the dishes served were salmon for appetizer and meat pot for main course.
The day concluded with more songs, coffee & dessert.
