Photos of Hawthorn festival in Dogankoy

On Saturday it was Hawthorn Festival in Dogankoy. Face painting and pottery were some of the activities. At the stalls one could buy hawthorn marmalade, and other specialties made from this berry. In one stall three women baked Golzeme (flatbread with cheese) and we got to try the delicious bread, filled with white cheese and spinach.

On stage there were performances by young men and women dancing to folk music while the men balanced several glasses full of water on their heads.
