Art and music celebrate the 31st anniversary of the TRNC with the fifth Republic Exhibition and Concert tomorrow, Tuesday November 18, which is free and open to all.
The show will be opened by President Derviş Eroğlu at 6:30pm at the capital´s Atatürk Cultural Centre gallery with music by a quartet of Eastern Mediterranean University students musicians.
Paintings by 25 local artists will include works by Gönen Atakol, Hikmet Ulucam, Feridun Işıman, Hüzeyin Özinal and exhibits have been chosen by the artists themselves.
Opera singers Dilşad Asadova and Laden İnce will star in a 7:30pm Republic Concert with pianists Atakan Sarı, Gözdem İlkay, Tolga Erzurumlu and a Lefkosa Municipality Orchestra Trio.
