Iranians around the world celebrate Yalda, the longest day of the year, and that’s no exception in North Cyprus. And what better place to celebrate in style than Salamis Conti Bay Hotel Resort? As the celebrations continued late into the night at Salamis’s venue it became a memorable night of fun for all!
Yalda and Christmas are both celebrated in a similar fashion, by staying up all night with family and friends eating special foods. Yalda signifies days start lengthening, symbolizing the arrival of winter, the renewal of sun and the victory of light over darkness which coincides with December 21 this year, the longest and darkest night of the year.
Day of love, friendship and earth in ancient persian culture. Candles burned into the night, in an evening of entertainment, drinking and dancing. The artistic music show was hosted by DJ Milad combining high-end entertainment adding wave after wave of energy to the evenings main event.
