Salsa Jam was founded by Mehmet Aslan in 2006 and is the first professional Latin Dance & Music Festival Organization in North Cyprus. Salsa Jam has accommodated famous dancers, musicians and other participating guests from 60 different countries within the last 8 years and by doing so has initiated a prestigious place within global festivals.
Some of these countries are; Canada, USA, England, Spain, Cuba, Portugal, Mexico, Columbia, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Israel, Russia, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Bulgaria, France, Romania, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium and Puerto Rico.
The main target of their achievements up until now has been to support the Social Latin Dance and Cultural Activities all around Cyprus and promote the country by developing each year and by doing so revolutionize the event into a global festival.
With the 9th Salsa Jam in Cyprus International Latin Dance and Music festival set from 4th-8th September 2014, the intention is to bring internationally famous professional dancers together with local dance schools which pursue the art of dance and thus create an unforgettable art festival and make North Cyprus home to this event.
Our goal is to attract everyone from all backgrounds & levels to share their passion of dancing with us. This is an amazing opportunity for you to take advantage of professional instructors, get into salsa or even boost your level. We are inviting everyone to the biggest Salsa Festival to experience the magic of salsa under the Mediterranean sunshine of Cyprus.
