Saturday’s salsa party in Mekhan, inside the walls of the old town of Nicosia, was a very successful event with dancers from all over the world. Guests came from Iran, Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, South Africa and Greece. The entire inner courtyard of Mekhan was filled with people dancing to the tunes of Latin music from dj salsero, Mehmet Aslan, who is also the founder of Salsa Jam in Cyprus.
