On January 11, the hunting season of small game begins which carries on until March 8. In total the hunting will consist of 17 days from the time the sun rises until it sets.
The hunts takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays and it is not permitted to have a dog with you.
The varieties of birds that are permitted to hunt are: woodcocks, wood pigeons, pigeons, thrushes, crows and magpies. Everything else is forbidden to shoot at.
When hunting, you must be at a distance of at least 300-500 meters away from a place of residence depending on where it is located. Maps detailing the permitted hunting areas are shown in the local newspapers just before the hunt begins.
