A workshop in Jivamukti yoga, which aims to “heal body, mind and spirit”, will take place at the Dharma Yoga Shala in Girne on Sunday, February 1.
Qualified Jivamukti teacher Naile Soyel said she would guide participants in tuning seven “energy centres” in the body, known as chakras. Ms Soyel will demonstrate the postures and philosophy behind the chakra system, enabling participants to “open and balance” the energy centres.
The chakra tuning workshop is available to all levels except complete beginners.
The Dharma Yoga Shala is at 7, Namik Kemal Caddesi, Girne and the session costs 40TL if paying by cash or 45TL by credit card. Those taking part should bring a towel.
