Sunset and a bite to eat

I have had a few hectic days and I know I should not stress, but sometimes you can not stop the rampage of stress. You become blinded by speed.

Last night I had my last session at 18.30 and I had only eaten a light lunch; a chicken kebab on Fast Food here in Alsancak, probably the island’s best.

I was really hungry so I decided for once to go out to get a bite to eat.

Normally I do not go out myself, not because there is any danger, but because I think it’s so boring to eat alone.

I decided to go to Kerevanseray. The time was about 7 pm and the sun began to slowly sink to the horizon. I sat and enjoyed the nice, light breeze and my eyes rested partly on the Kyrenia mountain and partly on the boats that moored below.

There were many people who had found their way here. The darkness came slowly and the sun disappeared into the sea.

If you want to enjoy a nice evening with good food, beautiful sunset, and maybe even an evening swim in the sea, why not go to Kerevanseray?

Kerevanseray is located west of Girne. Take the coastal road towards Lapta / Alsancak and opposite Stone Grill you turn off towards the sea.
