Sweet treats afternoon tea at Lord's Palace

Lord’s Palace Hotel in Girne hosted a second afternoon tea for some 50 people on Friday the previous week.

Public relations officer Melis Koçyiğit said that following the success of the two events, a third tea would be held in around two weeks’ time in the hotel’s Sky Bar and Lounge.

“Everyone was served sweet and savoury snacks along with tea and coffee as soft background music was played and people socialised,” she said.

“We were planning to hold this event on a monthly basis but after receiving such great feedback from those attending, who are mainly expats, we decided to have another in around two weeks’ time, with the exact date to be announced later.

“If we again receive favourable feedback we might host such teas every week.”
