The Abnormals in support of EFRAR

The EFRAR 2016 committee is delighted to announce that the Abnormals have pledged their support for Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips) and specifically the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2016.

Susie Ford (aka Michael Jackson) said: “We all know someone affected by cancer and we want to do whatever we can to help raise money for the charity. It not only helps others but brings communities together so it is a win-win situation.”

The Abnormals, who have already raised 1,200TL for the Association by playing two venues in December last year, plan to do more gigs in the coming months. They will also take part in the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble, either by running or turning up in their alter ego outfits to meet and greet those taking part.

Chairman of the EFRAR 2016 Committee, Art Watson commented: “These people formed themselves into a group to entertain, in a slightly less conventional way, and people love them. They are also helping the Association and EFRAR 2016 and I couldn’t be more delighted, we all look forward to seeing them at the Fun Run this year which is on Sunday 10th April at Magic Bar.”

The group is looking for sponsorship for the Estentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2016 and if you are interested in sponsoring them, please call Susie on 0542 8760133.

The Abnormals line-up is Graham Bone, Martin Forster, Annette McCloskey, Susie Ford, Martin Ford, Andy Cooper and Alison Bone.

They have also produced a 2016 calendar which is on sale for 20TL, 10TL of which will be donated to Tulips. If you would like one, please contact Susie Ford on 0542 8760133.
