The Cabin

On the 23 April, the Cabin in Lapta celebrated their first anniversary.

The restaurant opened five years earlier but was in a different location, originally near Lapethos hotel, not far from the current location.

The Cabin is a very cosy restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with friendly staff and a wonderful location right on the beach. They serve mostly European cuisine, at reasonable prices. The beach is located below the restaurant and is free to use and drinks and snacks are also served there. Evenings here are very romantic with atmospheric candlelit lights shining through the trees and plants.

They are open seven days a week and the manager, from Turkey, is always in place. His wife has recently started baking desserts in a pretty glass house in the garden, everything from pastries, pies, and cakes, and it has become very popular. (See the images below)

On May 14 they are holding a full moon party on the beach with a barbecue and DJ Bob stands. The full moon party will be held once a month throughout the summer months.

There are also popular Karaoke nights three nights a week.

Opening hours: 09:00 to 00:00 (02:00 in summer) but the kitchen closes at 22:30.
