More than 20 golfers will take part in Friday’s Movember Madness charity event at the Korineum Golf and Beach Resort, in Esentepe.
Male players have been growing moustaches for the event which is in aid of the Movember Foundation, a global charity supporting research into men’s health.
“The golfers aim to get conversations about men’s health going and raise much needed funding for the foundation,” said Korineum sales and marketing executive Lyndsay Davies.
She said the club had already raised over £250, adding: “The Movember Madness tournament has already reached capacity, with 60 ladies and men competing in a stableford competition.”
The “Mo Sisters” will also be on hand on Friday to collect donations at the club.
Among those growing moustaches for the tournament are Colin Herbert, Danny Turner, Peter Freeland, Ernie Proudfoot, Simon Harrison, Steve Jones and Phil Channing.
There will be a prize for the best moustache as well as a prize for the tournament winner, thanks to sponsorship from GM Plastics and McKenzie Guest House.
