We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! So why not indulge it outside the home sometime from time to time? “Kahvaltı” is the Turkish word for breakfast, and one of Kyrenia’s newly opened breakfast places is called Kahvaltım Cafe. The family-run breakfast café is located just outside the city centre and offers breakfast every day of the week. On the menu there is “Turkish breakfast” in several generous variaties. You can also order soups, pide (thin Turkish pizza), gözleme (a thin bread pancake with filling) and fresh salads. In other words, a perfect opportunity for visitors to the island to try Cypriot tastes! Enjoy freshly baked bread, roasted vegetables, local cheeses and several other delicacies. Of course, they also serve orange juice, Turkish coffee and tea!
