ZenZone is the obvious choice for fashion conscious women who look after trends, new styles and fashionable must-have. The clothing store is located in Kyrenia centre and is characterized by a vibrant fashion with prominent details. ZenZone is both the name of the store and the clothing collection. The brand comes from North Cyprus and the designer and founder is Esra Ergün. Often she is on the move, but we are able to get an interview despite her full schedule, when she was in Cyprus for a few days. Esra tells about ZenZone – the dream and passion that came to be real.
“ZenZone has clothes for all seasons and occasions. Our collection is constantly updated with the latest trends in the fashion world. We have a strong passion for fashion and aim to offer customers a new interesting shopping experience. Our goal is eventually to expand to more cities in Cyprus and Turkey. ”
Esra tells that most customers who shop at ZenZone are women between 20 and 45 years old. Women are inspired by the latest trends and want to inspire others with their personal style. Esra holds one eye on the catwalk and the other on Cyprus everyday life, and therefor creating a Mediterranean-inspired street style that has made ZenZone so popular on the island.
Clothing and fashion has always been a burning interest in Esra. “I was probably born fashion designer,” she says with a little laugh. “All my life, I have loved to express myself through fashion, and since childbirth I have said that this is what I want to do”.
Esra draws and designs the clothes that are then produced in Turkey. The travels to Istanbul are many as she likes to have a good overview of production because high quality is everything for ZenZone. The collections are then sold at the Kyrenia store. Customers who have special requests can get clothes tailor made for an additional fee. Just go into the store and talk to the staff and they will help with this.
Finally, we ask Esra what she thinks when shopping for clothes.
“It’s important that you think the clothes are stylish and that you are happy with their looks, but do not forget that they must also be comfortable! Try to find items that can be easily combined with other items, and that can be used on several occasions. Everyone fits in different colors, find your colors and match with nice details! ”
